Central Park today confirmed that agreement had been reached with Ladbrokes to sponsor the Kent Derby for the next three years. Barry Stanton, Consultant to the track said “I’m delighted that Ladbrokes have agreed to sponsor and secure its future. This competition is one of the major category one events in the Calendar and it is fitting that we have a partner of Ladbrokes standing to enhance the status of this race and I’m looking forward to some of the best greyhounds in the country competing at Central Park”
The competition will be known as THE LADBROKES KENT DERBY for 36 greyhounds. The first round will be on Sunday 23rd September, Semi Finals on Sunday 30th September and the Final on Sunday 7th October.
Adrian Osman, Head of Sponsorship for the LadbrokesCoral Group, said “"We are looking forward to sponsoring at Central Park for the first time, and it promises to be a thrilling, high quality renewal of the competition"
